CodeRED test slated

Nassau County Emergency Management will test the telephone-based CodeRED Emergency Notification System on the morning of Sept. 13. This test will give Nassau County Emergency Management the opportunity to operate the system as if there were an actual emergency.

The latest New York Times poll was based on telephone interviews conducted Aug. 27 through 31 in New York City with 892 adults, of whom 195 lived in Manhattan and said they were registered to vote.
